About me
I bring more than 25 years of healthcare experience to my practice, including 17 years as a nurse with 7 of those years spent in healthcare executive leadership. After completing my Master of Science in Nursing, I became board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Working in healthcare exposes professionals to mental health needs on a daily basis, and through this I developed a strong foundation in understanding the complex ways mental and physical health intersect.
For the past three years, I have worked in mental health at a substance abuse rehabilitation facility, where I gained significant experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and supporting clients through recovery. This background has shaped my belief that mental health care is more than symptom management—it requires getting to the root causes of challenges.
My practice is rooted in integrative psychiatry, combining evidence-based medicine with attention to self-care, lifestyle, and whole-person wellness. While medication can be an important tool, true healing involves much more. Clients can expect a collaborative partnership, greater clarity about their mental health, and practical tools to build resilience and hope.
As a mother of six and the wife of a Marine Corps veteran, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to support women, parents, and veterans in their journey toward long-term wellness and growth.
